Welcome to Prairie Bricks

Post by ManitobaMoe on Sun Jun 29, 2014 8:43 am

Welcome to Prairie Bricks. This forum was created to foster the relationships of Lug members from the Canadian prairies. While there is not much to see right now, I will be working on importing all posts from the separate forums to here

Thanks

Thanks, Manitoba Moe, for doing all of this work for the LUG of Middle Canada (I capitalized "middle" because it makes me feel like a Hobbit).

I'll check in often.
Any chance we could get a second User group for SLUG, if for nothing else but to see who is from which LUG?

Thanks again!

There is a secondary group for slug and I will add you to it. Welcome aboard Man of science. Glad you enjoy being from the middle of Canada, I would not want to live any where else Smile

Hi,
I'm Jesse and I'm new! Anyhow, I'm excited to join this forum and to connect with other LEGO fanatics. I'm not a major collector, but I do buy quite a bit of LEGO. My pattern is generally the following: falling in love with one theme or another, then collecting all of it, then selling it all to collect the new theme I'm in love with. Right now I am still in awe of the Scooby sets, as it brings two of my absolute favourite things together.

Hello Darth Tater

Welcome! Tell us a little more about yourself. Are you a builder, collector, seller of Lego? What themes are you in to?

Hi,

My name is Asko, and I am a member of ParLUGment in Ottawa.  But I like to see what the other LUGs are up to, and get ideas and inspirations.  And after this past year, see who is still a LUG out there!

I've fallen down the GBC rabbit hole, building new ones for when we hook them all up at shows.

Hi
My name is Richard from MBLUG (Manitoba LUG). We have fallen down the same GBC hole. A couple of members have built a few modules. I am working on replicating the great ball factory fortunately there are instructions to follow although they are a little sketchy. The biggest constraint has been time to work on it as I also enjoy working on Lego trains and/or other ventures.
