Estevan Craft Show

Chris U has been looking for venues and opportunities to get the SLUG name out in and around the southern corner of the province. He's put our name in the hat for a one-day Christmas Craft show in mid November where we'd be able to show off what sorts of things we do.

With Chris and Waylon down there already, we won't need a huge host of people to attend, but if you'd like to send some creations down, I have said that I will make the trek south for the show.

We'll let Chris take the lead on this one and get the planning going as to what sorts of things would make sense to have down there.

The Estevan Kinettes Craft Show will be on November 15, 2014. I will be in contact with the coordinator of the show early this week and will have more information before the end of August.

We will be showing on a 4x8 table/"booth". Since it is a Christmas themed (and in November) craft show I was thinking that it would be appropriate if all the creations were Christmas/winter themed as well. Please let me know if you would be interested in participating. By participating I mean, building for it and coming down for the day or building for it and sending your creation with someone else. With 42 days left to go before the Estevan Kinettes Club Craft Show , it is time to announce our Christmas themed building challenge! It will be voted on by visitors to the show. The challenge is... A SCENCE FROM YOUR FAVORITE CHRISTMAS MOVIE challenge!

Creations made may be no more than 32 studs in either length or width, but may be as tall as desired.

These creations will be viewable during the one day Estevan Kinettes Club Craft Show and can be voted on by the viewing public! Each vote cast has a chance to win a Lego set as our way of saying 'thank you' for voting.
