SLUG Travel Bursary information
In 2017, it was decided to offer a travel bursary amount of $50 max. per year to interested members to assist in attending a LEGO-related event. This program was created to encourage more members to attend more events, both in and out of province, and become more involved in the larger LEGO community.
Before applying for the bursary, please make sure you have met the required stipulations:
- you have been a member of SLUG for at least one calendar year
- you are in good standing within the club (see Bylaws section 6.3)
- you have not already applied for a bursary amount this calendar year
- you have attended a LEGO-related event, outside of your home city / town, for which you wish to apply for the bursary
If you have met the above stipulations, please email slug_regina.sk@hotmail.com, "Travel Bursary - your name" in the subject line, with the following information:
- your name
- date of application
- event you attended (name and location)
- date of event attended
- attached image of your creation displayed at the event
- amount of bursary ($50 max.) requested
Your application must be made no later than 2 weeks after the event you are applying for.
A physical copy or your application will be kept for documentation, as well as the electronic emailed copy.
Once application has been made, it will be reviewed for required information and you will receive an email with the status of your application:
approved, more information required, denied.
